Specialist Training
Dr Ickeringill was educated at St Bart's Hospital Medical College, London, and completed his anaesthetic specialist training at the Bristol School of Anaesthesia, UK.
Subspecialist Training
He completed a 1-year fellowship in intensive care medicine at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, with conjoint lecturer position at the University of NSW, and later a six-month advanced trainee placement in paediatric anaesthesia at Bristol Children's Hospital.

Dr Ickeringill is a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at Ramsay Peel Health Campus, and is a member of the Anaesthetic Department committee at St John of God Hospital, Murdoch.
